Members Development Day at Glebe Farm

Saturday, 8th October saw our Irish development day take part at Glebe Farm.

Hosts Alfie and Elaine Shaw gave a warm welcome to all our members and supporters of the breed.

An excellent series of workshops on a variety of subjects included

• Ring craft and show etiquette

• Animal preparation and products

• Stock judging

• Glenarm scheme

• EBVS and scanning

• A butchery demonstration

• Livestock photography and tips

A farm walk and refreshments finished off the day. Both new, and more experienced members thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the Breed and were able to find out all the latest information on these key topics.
