Class 1- Purebred animal.

Class 2- Commercial animal born in 2023. To be sired by a named registered Beef Shorthorn.

Class 3- Commercial animal born in 2022. To be sired by a named registered Beef Shorthorn.

Class 4- Continental sired calf born in 2023. Out of a pure Beef Shorthorn cow.

Class 5- Cow in calf or with calf at foot. Either cow or calf at foot to be sired by a named registered Beef Shorthorn.

Class 6- Pen of 3 store cattle. To be sired by a named registered Beef Shorthorn.

To enter classes 1-6 £5 per entry. No entry fee required for sale only cattle. DfAM reserve the right to split or amalgamate classes based on entry numbers. Proof of parentage to be provided by the vendor. The Beef Shorthorn Society reserve the right to do a DNA test to verify sire. Sold under the conditions of sale as displayed in the mart as recommended by the Livestock Auctioneers Association. Pedigree cattle will be sold in guineas (subject to society levy also) and commercials in pounds. DfAM will take 5p from the guinea on pedigree cattle and commission rate on commercials of 4%
