Longtown Mart - Morrisons' Shorthorn Stores to £1250

C & D Auction Marts sold 91 Beef Shorthorn and Beef Shorthorn cross store cattle in the Morrisons` supported section of the Kircambeck sale at Longtown Mart on 15th October.

The section was topped by Willis Graham`s Fieldhouse herd from Ilton, Ripon with a June 2021 born pure-bred steer making £1,250.  Fieldhouse followed this with a pen of five at £1,150 and another pen of five at £1,090.

J. S. & E. Dinwoodie, Archerbeck, Canonbie sold a pair of Shorthorn cross steers at £1,190 with others at £1,170, £1,050 and £1020.  The consignment from Messrs Crew, The Gall, Lockerbie made to £1,120, £1,110, £1,090, £1,070 and £1,030 with pens from P. Bell, Kirndean, Newcastleton to £1,030 and Matthew Thomson, Pilmuir, Hawick to £1,000.
