Here are some important dates for your diary. Make sure you don’t miss out.
Club weekend away
Friday 20 - Monday 23 September, the Club is going to Shannon in Southern Ireland.
October Bull Sales (United Auctions, Stirling) - Saturday 19 to Monday 21 October
Bull inspection 2pm on Saturday 19 October
Show starts 1pm on Sunday 20 October, heifers followed by bulls
Sale takes place at 11am on Monday 21 October with the sale of females, bulls from 1pm
Scottish Beef Shorthorn Club AGM
Sunday 21 October at 2.45pm, the venue is the Lomond Suite at Stirling Market.
Social, supper and prize-giving of herds competition and C&D Summer shows competition
This annual event takes place on Sunday 21 October at Stirling Golf Club, Queens Road, Stirling FK8 3AA. The cost is £15 per ticket and these must be booked in advance and payment made to Rosemary Dickie on the night. Please note: the results of the herds competition are given out at this event and the Judge, Ian Park will be our guest and present the prizes. Everyone welcome.
Agri-Expo 2019 (open calf show)
Friday 1 November at H&H Ltd, Carlisle market.
Stars of the Future Calf Show
Saturday 9 November at UA Ltd, Stirling market.
